“I’ve got better things to do tonight than die.”
Hey there, Cinemaniacs! Ealan here with this week’s Hidden Movie Club newsletter!
My goodness! The True Lies live stream was a good one, since the film itself is absolutely bonkers, but also because it was the first episode with our new panelist Eric Roman! What a treat to have another viewpoint added to our discussions! If you missed it, here is the link! 👇
The Transformers: The Movie
We are excited to bring you a discussion on yet another anniversary release that came to theaters! The Transformers: The Movie is the OG animated movie from 1986 (40 years have gone by?! Seriously?!), and we want to talk about it!
How many of you saw it all those years ago? When is the last time you watched it? Well, if it’s been awhile, now is your chance before the next live stream! It doesn’t look like it’s streaming for free anywhere at the moment (what a shame!), so you’ll need to rent it (which is what I’m doing) or watch it if you already own a physical copy! Lucky you!
Join us this Tuesday September 22nd at 12PM PDT/3PM EDT as Derek, Eric and I sit down and discuss this classic!
Meet Eric Roman!
Just look at this hunk in his suit and tie, right?! 😁 We are so excited to have him on the live streams, and you should be, too! He has a pedigree that makes him very qualified to talk about movies…much more qualified than me, that’s for sure. 😄
Eric is a Michigan-based actor, director, and filmmaker with a passion for character-driven storytelling and the art of cinema. Working both in front of and behind the camera, Eric brings a performer’s perspective to filmmaking and a lifelong appreciation for movies to everything he creates. When he’s not on set, he’s usually watching, discussing, or discovering the next film that could be your new favorite!
So everybody say “Welcome” to Eric! 👋
And there you have it, folks! We appreciate all the love and support y’all give us! See you this Tuesday! Don’t just watch TV and movies, experience them! Own your entertainment! 📀
