“I know now why you cry…but it’s something I can never do.”
Hey there Cinemaniacs! Ealan comin’ in extra late to give you a heads up on today’s live stream.
With it’s 35th anniversary happening this year, Terminator 2: Judgement Day had a limited release in theaters at the end of August, so we want to talk about it!
Could this still be the very best action movie of all time?! Or is a 1991 film a little outdated for 2026? Tune into the stream to find out what we thought!
We’re coming at your eyeballs and ear holes at the usual 12PM PDT/3PM EDT, so synchronize your watches, folks! Hope to see you there!
OFFICE SHED UPDATE
One of the reasons I’m tardy with this newsletter is because I spent all Labor Day weekend…laboring. 😅 Carpet was finally put into the shed, which was the last step before I could move all my crap into there.
It’s not a theater yet, but that’s okay. That will come in due time (although for real, I can’t wait until I do get some speakers installed in there 😁).
But I was at least able to get my desk, computer, microphone, cameras, etc in there so I can actually utilize the space as a legit office! And I was able to get internet out there, too, thanks to some beaming tech and a couple satellite dishes! Hooray! Because what’s an office space in 2026 without internet, right?!
In fact, I’ll be broadcasting today’s live stream from the new office shed! It’s nothing fancy yet. I plan on putting some LED lights in there to make it a little more interesting, since right now it’s just black walls all around me. 😆 But flat painted black walls is the best scenario for the eventual projector that I’ll have in there.
I have a bunch of footage to edit for the next official episode (episode 5) of me documenting the whole process, but I just gotta find time to do that editing on the side. I’ve got a lot of side gigs coming in right now as well as my full time job, so…it’ll be released hopefully sooner than later. 😉 I’ll be sure to post the video link in a future newsletter!
And that’s a wrap, Cinemanaics! Thanks for the support you give us! You rock! 🤘
